Work & life balance is a bit weird. Work is a part of life. But we are concerned about the balance between the two.

The other half of life is 'leisure',like hobbies, relaxation, and family life. Life consists of work and leisure. Therefore work&leisure balance is fitter than work&life balance

One more issue, work-life balance is talking about balance in terms of time. When you work more, you have less leisure time, and when you work less, you have more leisure time. But in physics, work is made up of force and result, so it's wrong to talk about time or balance.

If you work well, your effort(force) make abilities increase. And you can get rewards by a good result. Abilities and rewards make you free. So working well, the leisure will increase.

Work and leisure are not opposite. They are proportional. Life becomes richer.
