Performance vs. Effort

Performance vs. Effort

"Money is everything." It is performanceism. It feels uncomfortable and too dry.

"Good effort!" It is warmthism. It can be sweet, but it is nothingness.

Physics teach we need to be free from -ism, which emphasizes only one thing. The work in physics must be considered in both result and effort.

Of course, the ratio of results and effort can be adjusted appropriately depending on the type of work or the circumstances of the company.

But if any one is missing, work is zero.

If you are in a sales department, you should increase the ratio of performance.

If you are in the company needing challenge or experience, you should increase the ratio of effort and try.

Leaders can adjust the ratio of performance and effort on the job according to the circumstances and characteristics.

However, the important thing is that the evaluation of work should never be based on performance or effort alone.

American performanceism or Japanese seniority is physically wrong. ‘OOism’ is not suitable for the organization.

Leaders should always look at work with comprehensive view. Never emphasize one thing.
